About Erik: Erik Hasselquist, a seasoned musician and trumpet virtuoso, has embarked on a musical odyssey that transcends borders. From Arizona State University (ASU) to the heart of Kenya, Erik’s trumpet notes resonate with purpose.

ASU Prelude: Under the guidance of renowned soloist David Hickman, Erik’s trumpet career flourished at ASU. The desert winds carried his melodies, shaping the artist he would become.

Cleveland Crescendo: Erik’s journey then led him to Cleveland, where he joined the studio of Michael Sachs, Principal Trumpet of the Cleveland Orchestra. At the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM), Erik’s trumpet sang with passion.

Kenyan Rhapsody: Now, Erik calls Kenya home. Here, he shares his passion with students, weaving musical tapestries that echo across East Africa. Lessons, performances, and harmonies await—join the symphony!
